Marlton, NJ – Bridgenext (formerly Emtec, Inc.) (OTCBB: ETEC), a systems integrator, today announced that it has been awarded a contract initially funded at $3.2 million for the first two years, and will be funded up to a total of $8 million if the options for the three additional one-year renewal periods are fully exercised. This award is for the delivery of Desktop Support Services in 200 locations throughout Jacksonville, Florida and will support more than 6,500 users of desktop and laptop PCs.
Bridgenext associates working with the City of Jacksonville include Desktop Technicians, Supervisors and Senior Analysts to create a seamless integrated workflow between Jacksonville IT and vendor staff and also City and Vendor processes. Responsibilities include a broad range of managed desktop services including configuration, installation, maintenance of PC hardware and software images, as well as connectivity and software updates.
In addition, Bridgenext will handle advanced diagnostic and resolution of escalated desktop tickets, deployment of enterprise patches, escalate and resolve advanced technical problems, diagnose and resolve complex problems and participate in the design and configuration of new desktop hardware and operating systems.
