According to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27002:2013 provides organizations with internationally recognized requirements and guidelines for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS); as well as standards and best practices for information security management including the selection, implementation, and management of controls.
