Senior Drupal Developer

Location: Pune

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Drupal Developer with strong front‑end development capabilities in Angular. The ideal candidate will work on building scalable, secure, and high‑performance web applications using Drupal CMS and modern JavaScript frameworks. This role requires hands-on expertise in custom module development, theme development, API integrations, and building dynamic single‑page application (SPA) components using Angular.


Key Responsibilities

Drupal Development

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal 8/9/10 websites and applications.
  • Build custom modules, themes, and templates based on project requirements.
  • Implement Drupal hooks, services, plugins, and APIs.
  • Manage Drupal configuration, workflows, user roles, taxonomy, and content types.
  • Integrate third‑party APIs, payment gateways, and external systems with Drupal.
  • Ensure adherence to Drupal coding standards and best practices.

Angular Development

  • Develop SPA components using Angular (v10+ preferred).
  • Build reusable UI components, services, and state‑management logic.
  • Integrate Angular front‑end with Drupal backend using REST, JSON:API, or GraphQL.
  • Optimize front‑end performance for speed, responsiveness, and cross‑browser compatibility.
  • Implement Angular routing, form modules, RxJS, and Angular Material where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in Drupal 8/9/10.
  • Proficiency in Angular (Angular 10+ preferred).
  • Expertise in PHP, OOP concepts, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Twig, Composer, Drupal CLI, and Drush.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON:API, GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket / Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, or containerized deployments is a plus.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to Acquia Cloud or Pantheon hosting environments.
  • Experience with performance optimization, caching (Redis, Varnish), and CDN integration.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO best practices.
  • Experience with Test Frameworks (Jasmine, Karma) for Angular.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
