Success Predictors:
- You are an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect, CTA, or have proven experience as a program architect implementing the most complex solutions at enterprise scale
- You are confident in designing solutions and leading technical teams at scale (Think of multiple scrum teams distributed across multiple time zones, multi-org implementations, and complex integrations).
- You possess the verbal and written dexterity to be able to have conversations with global C-Suite executives and to also get down to a fine level of detail with developers.
- Ability to work with developers, guide them to a solution, and if needed, alter your solution based on their feedback. You are curious, able to tease information from people, and willing to determine a solution from several possible alternatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the key client stakeholders to understand their business objectives and shepherding them through the intricacies of the Salesforce platform.
- Designing an elegant solution that achieves the customer’s objectives and is secure, scalable & maintainable
- Leading all members of a project/program in implementing your design, including review of development artifacts to ensure the solution adheres to platform and architectural best practices.
- Record hours worked on a daily basis
- Be a proactive technical leader who can collaborate and lead projects alongside product owners, project managers, and technical leads
- Guide project teams by designing, implementing, and maintaining a DevOps strategy that suits the project methodology
- Part of your time would be spent keeping up to date on the latest Salesforce technologies
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience and expertise in leading development and architecture efforts across an enterprise program
- 5+ years Salesforce platform experience, 3+ years in a lead design/architecture role on PDO projects, or extensive experience with SI/Enterprise architecture.
- Solid understanding of OEM vs ISV licensing considerations
- Understanding of ISV design/architecture/packaging and 2nd generation packaging
- Scratch org development knowledge
- Certifications
o Salesforce CTA certification (strongly preferred)

o Salesforce System and Application Architect certifications and Platform Dev II certification coupled with strong experience in enterprise implementations
- Strong experience and master level knowledge of Salesforce platform technologies
- Strong experience in license models, OAuth, and SSO flows
- Experience in being a program architect and staying on top of multiple globally distributed project teams, and providing technical leadership
- Experience in designing and coaching clients on how to fit in SFDC DevOps and CI/CD processes into enterprise Release Management
- Experience in leading a global or multi-org implementation
- Expert ability to discuss cloud architecture and principles of modern platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, etc.
- Expert understanding of security processes, standards & issues involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications
- Expert understanding of architectural design patterns, including SOA, DRY, object-oriented patterns, common integration patterns, etc.
- Experience in speaking and writing with clarity, brevity, and purpose in order to explain technical designs clearly and confidently to influence and engage C-level and off-platform enterprise architects with authority and confidence
- Experience in designing enterprise-grade RESTful APIs that are scalable and efficient
- Familiarity with integration & authentication patterns = SSO, OAuth, JWT, Client Credential, Auth Provider, Named Credentials, etc.
- Integration Tools: Swagger, Postman, Maven
- Service Cloud XP (loosely based on Service Cloud)
- OEM vs ISV licensing and build considerations
- General ISV design/architecture/packaging
- 2nd Generation Packaging
