Position Description:

We are looking for an Engineer with hands-on Big Data Development and Streaming experience who will work on the internal and customer-based projects for Bridgenext, someone who cares about the quality of the code and who is passionate about providing the best solution to meet the client’s needs and anticipates their future needs based on an understanding of the market.

Must Have Skills: 

• 4-6 years of overall experience. Must have 2 years of exp in Streaming, preferably using Kafka, Flink and Java.
• 3 years of technical solutions experience including 2+ years in a combination of relevant Big Data/Analytics areas including Hadoop and other industry Big Data frameworks, underlying infrastructure for Big Data solutions (clustered/distributed computing, storage, Data center networking).
• Deployment of a large distributed Big Data application.
• Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing Knowledge of batch and streaming data architectures like Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, Storm, Beam.

• Experience building, and operating cloud services in IT, System integrator or service provider.
• High level of experience with Java / Scala / Python (Java is preferred).
• Ability to demonstrate micro/macro designing and familiar with unix commands and basic work experience in unix shell scripting.
• Technology expertise of solutioning in Hive, Spark (PySpark/Scala), SQL.
• Good to have AWS Cloud experience.
