Behind every great campaign is someone who knows how to balance strategy, creativity, while keeping things real along the way. In this edition of Meet the Team series, we’re featuring Becca Reissman, who brings decades of experience in communications, a sharp perspective on evolving media trends, and a refreshingly honest take on work (including her stance on emojis).
Bridgenext team stats:

How did you enter the world of PR? Can you share a bit about your career journey?
My original plan was law school after undergrad. However, after an internship for fX gathering press clippings and working behind the scenes on their original shows – like Jeff Probst’s Backchat pre Survivor fame – I set my sights on PR services and television. Almost 30 years and 2 companies later, the shift turned out to be a rewarding career in communications.
Sum up your work style in three emojis:
I don’t do emojis. Yeah, I said it.
What do you love most about working with your team at Bridgenext?
We are lucky to have some of the smartest and kindest people on our team. Some I’ve worked with for over 20 years and the trust I have with them is stronger than any other team I’ve ever worked with.
What’s one tool, process, or mindset you rely on daily to get things done?
To do lists.
What fuels your creative fire (besides caffeine and deadlines)?
Reading. I read a book a week and am always looking for recs!
What would you consider your biggest career achievement so far?
Most would think it would be a specific project with strong placements, I but truly I think my biggest achievement has been building relationships with clients. There are some I’ve worked with for over 20 years, from the days of b-roll satellite feeds through the evolution of digital media. I’ve seen a lot of change in our industry over my career and being able to guide clients through the transitions, navigate their internal priority shifts and economic dips and still remain a trusted partner is something I’m proud of.
Tell us about a project you’re especially proud of:
I love that I get to work on a wide variety of projects and have been in studio for hundreds of media tours, so choosing just one is extremely difficult, but I would say I’m most proud of the work I’ve done with pharma and healthcare clients and their agency partners. From FDA approvals to disease awareness campaigns, I’ve been involved in the launch of some major medical breakthroughs over the years and am particularly touched by the patients I’ve met and hearing how medical advances truly change their lives.
What’s your go-to software, platforms for bringing ideas to life?
Word – I love to write!
What’s the most exciting trend in video or content production right now, from your perspective?
2026 is all about the AI transitioning from experimentation to practical, high utility implementation. Being able to create extremely specific content in record time is going to positively impact what we can do for clients with limited budgets and fewer resources. Ensuring it’s done ethically will be a challenge, however, I’m excited to see how it can be used to enhance, not replace, traditional production.
How do you stay ahead in an industry that’s constantly evolving?
Always being open to learn. Continuing education with online classes has been a game changer for keeping me on top of trends and staying competitive in a rapidly changing media environment. And I’m so excited about the role earned media will play in the GEO era.
Becca’s journey is proof that sometimes the best career decisions are the unexpected ones. From PR sets to supporting FDA approvals, she’s learned that great work comes down to trust, adaptability, and knowing when to let go. (And maybe keeping a strong iced coffee close by.)
